I disagree. They should keep it that way, if you can't hit your free throws, it's your own fault. They're called free throws for a reason.

Obviously FT's arent't the most exciting part of the game, but there's something about it seeing the guy either buckle under the pressure and make the other coach look like a genius, or making them pay for putting him there by draining them.

I say when you have a intentional foul outside of like a minute just make it a tech, team gets to choose ft shooter and gets ball.

Makes sense, but leaves a pretty big gray area of what an intentional foul is.. like jake said, what if the player intentionally fouls to stop a layup?
