Gabbert doing fine. Wonder how long he'll play.

Gabbert is looking poor.
Threw it right at Chung, and he dropped it.
Kam better hope he doesn't start right off the bat.

It wasn't one pass. He looks very uneasy facing pressure, and he handled it well only once. He's missed multiple guys. You can't get caught up in all those little easy completions he's making. So far, he's missed all but one tough NFL throw.

It is the best. It's the most important time of the year for most players. Earning their jobs. Or in Gabbert's case, to see if he's ready for a starting job.

And what have the other QBs done?

Every QB misses crap. Especially a rookie starting in his first ever NFL game...Tyrod missed some real easy ones for the Ravens...don't hear you saying anything about him.

Pre-season means absolutely nothing, and if coaches use it to determine if someone is ready to start, that's incredibly stupid.

LMAO.
Tyrod Taylor, wasn't picked 10th overall. Tyrod Taylor, isn't in starting contention. We knew he was a project coming in. And he's the type of guy who isn't a classic pocket passer anyways. He doesn't need to make every throw because he can help move the offense using his legs too.

You can see Gabbert's talent, but he absolutely doesn't look ready. I'm just saying, if continues to play like this, I'd take Garrard to start the season.

Since when do you have a man crush on Gabbert?

Seriously? If a guy can't play in the pre-season, misses routine throws, with a simpler offense, all while the defense is holding back, why would he be ready to start week one? How does it not matter?
