elway was a #1 overall Pick. They knew the upside he had so the first 7 games of his career is irrelevant. A lot of people didn't have confident in Tebow come draft time. In fact, a lot said he'd be better off as a TE. The Upside for Tebow is expected to be much worse, so yeah, he can predict that Tebow won't improve.

If we're judging QBs based on how they stack up against the greats through their first few games, why aren't you praising Andy Dalton as the next greatest QB of all-time because his W-L record and his numbers are a lot better than Tebow's.

Dalton has been alright, just has had a lot of help which is what a young QB needs, they aren't making him do too much. Cam Newton will get ROY though, definitely.
