I was more making fun of Tebow fans who act like he makes the defense play better.
Sorry, I was confusing your for all the other people who are acting like every person in the media didn't pick the Patriots to win the game

In the regular season the Patriots only played two teams above .500 and they lost both (Giants, Steelers). They can definitely be beat. Of course they played a few teams who you wouldn't think would be barely at .500 (Eagles, Chargers, Cowboys etc.) If the Ravens win today, they definitely have a shot at getting to the Super Bowl.

Why?

Yards, I understand. Yardage allowed per game is a worthless stat, but points allowed, 3rd down percentage, and turnovers are the most important stats for a defense.
I actually edited my post -- probably while u were making your post, lol. I meant, like, JUST those two stats. I hate it. I understand the importance of those -- but like you said, Turnovers. Packers cause a lot of turnovers. I prefer to look at Defenses overall, rather than just Points and Yards allowed.

They had 31 Interceptions -- 2nd best in NFL was Patriots & 49ers with 23.

And i made a mistake earlier by saying Packers had a lot of Sacks -- I thought they had a lot but didnt even hit 30. But you can argue their pressure on opposing QBs still lead to a lot of picks.

Also to note -- Ravens, Giants, Texans are among top-6 in NFL in sacks this year.

In points allowed -- Ravens are 3rd, Texans are 4th. Might actually be closer than I thought.

The NFL would LOVE that.. Can you imagine? Brother vs Brother in the Super Bowl??? I can see it already with the story lines and everything going into the game... lol
That, or a Texans vs 49ers SB.

9ers team that was awful a year ago, vs a Rookie QB on a team that is from the AFC South (Colts).

Either matchup would make for a great story.

If the Texans defense can hold down the Ravens offense (Which I think they can), the Texans have a chance. Yates just cannot turnover the football, that could be the problem.

Boomer Esiason just told Suh lol... Suh said the Giants could capitalize with the Packers injuries on offense and Boomer said this is the healthiest the Packers have been in awhile and that the Packers backups were able to run all over the Lions defense.. lol

I had Saints and Ravens in the super bowl.

Only fitting that neither team makes it past the divisionals.

in comparison to other 3rd String QBs, Yates isn't that bad. But he ain't a guy you want out there 16 games a year.

Foster is a machine, perfect screen play having Yates fumble the ball. Don't think it was intentional though lol
