Gaby Sanchez is severely underrated. Dude is quietly following up a nice year last year with a monster start to this season.

We were good for most of 2005 and then all of 07, but Cliff Lee didn't become an ace until 2008 and that's when we started to decline.

We're back on the rise though imo. We usually make great deals for prospects when the time comes and now we are starting to draft well.

Red Sox up 6-0 now. Buck is so dry, I think he is sick. But either way he is an awful commentator.

I just walked in and heard about the Posada incident.

I would love for this to lead to the beginning of the Jesus Montero era. He could be a solid DH for us. Hard to be worse than Jorge this year.

As for the game:

We can't even beat Josh Beckett.

Yeah.

I dont even think it was an incident. I think it was just Jorge wanting a day off.

He wouldnt get pissed off anyways, cuz he gets to come home to this:

Yeah. Laura's got his back in this mess.

@Dlauraposada Laura Posada: Jorge loves being a Yankee > anything. He’s trying his best to help his team win. Today, due to back stiffness he wasn’t able to do that.
BUT:

“Big deal is if Posada decides not to play tomorrow, that would put him in breach of contract and #Yankees could terminate”
@JackCurryYES: Since Posada has declined to play, the Yankees are poised to dock his wages. Team official said, “This can’t continue.”
Joelsherman1 Joel Sherman
Asked 2 people in know if Posada received treatment b4 game for any injury. Both said no. So claim of back injury becoming he said, she said
BobKlap Bob Klapisch
Told no truth at all to Posada bad-back rumor. He didn’t report any problem to trainer or team physician before the game.
YESKimJones Kimberly Jones
Source: Posada has no back issue.
Posada is supposed to speak after the game.

Because the Yankees have a bunch of old players who need to share the DH spot for rest.
