This is definitely hard to swallow. I'd really be fine with being swept by any other team, but not these guys. I'm hoping we take it to the Indians too. I have the feeling we will. Not saying a sweep, but could see winning the series. The wins coming in the 1st two with Scherzer and Porcello.

Scherzer has been pitching extremely well. Hopefully Porcello gets his head out of his ass.

Why the fuck does Leyland even bother putting in Valverde?

I'm not counting on anything right now, the Indians are a much better team than the Tigers right now.

Beats me. Didn't expect to see him in this game. I like how the team has looked overall, with the potential, but the inconsistency really makes me second guess. I thought Jackson was starting to get out of his slump, but guess not. Basically, all we have right now is Cabby, Boesch, and Avila.

Losing Victor was a pain in the ass. Can't wait till he gets back.
Magglio and Jackson need to stop playing like shit.

You'll beat us game 1 with Jeanmar Gomez on the mound for us, no doubt about that. But I'm confident when we call up Alex White for the game on Saturday, the Tigers won't know what to expect exactly and he'll be able to beat Porcello, and then we should easily be able to get by Phil Coke with Masterson on the mound Sunday.

I'm counting the days until he gets back because that's definitely a killer. I like Mags and all, but i'm starting to lose faith in him. He just doesn't look like he has much left in him.

I'm giving him a bit more time.

I know I have no clue what to expect from Alex White. So, we'll see how that game goes. How the rotation is, Game 2 should decide who will win the series, because in no way am I confident about the Coke/Masterson match up.

That's true. It's obvious he can hit. I'll always have faith in him, just right now it's tough. As for his fielding, it's clear that's basically gone.

I was jumping the gun a little but it was actually just made official a minute or two ago, Alex White will be called up to start on Saturday. Excited to see him. Our first round pick in the 2009 draft.

Ah okay. I was wondering when you said that. My thoughts were "Who?" and than I looked at the schedule and didn't see him so I was a little confused. lol. In that case, we definitely will have no clue what to expect and by the time we start to figure him out, it might be too late. Porcello is up and down. It's possible that game could come down to the bullpens, but who knows. I'm confident in Game 1, not confident about Game 3, and iffy about Game 2.

Wait, what?

Once a hitter, always a hitter? Can Willie Mays come play in the MLB because he used to be a great hitter? Magglio is 37 coming off a season-ending injury

The problem with the Tigers inconsistencies is the guys they have on the team.... You have Austin Jackson that strikes out basically every other at bat, then you have Will Rhymes, which in my opinion shouldn't be the second baseman, he has a .180 average or so. Then you have Magglio that is hitting ground balls straight to the defenders EVERY time he's up to bat (Something is definitely wrong with him). Towards the end you have Inge who hits randomly, seems to get out more than anything and Peralta was never good in my opinion to begin with, too inconsistent. They don't have a complete lineup, too many holes. Ryan Raburn tries hitting a home run every at bat, he either crushes it or strikes out every at bat. I like Boesch, Cabrera, Avila, Martinez and that's about it, Raburn isn't horrible. Scott Sizemore needs to be given another chance at second.

Wow. Didn't even know until now. Twins lost 15-3. Ben Zobrist had 8 RBI's. Bet whoever has him on their fantasy team is feeling like they struck gold, at least today. lol.
