Ellsbury is the fourth major leaguer in major league history to compile 200 hits, 100 RBI, 30 homers and 35 stolen bases in the same season.

The way I see it, its going to be between Verlander, Ellsbury, and Bautista. Many have put their predictions as recent of yesterday in that order, and I would be fine with that. I feel that Verlander deserves the MVP; he's been beyond dominant this year. I just feel that the voters wont have a pitcher win, and therefore Ells will.

Nice lead on Cleveland. Good to see Scherzer pitching well thus far.

If any Red Sox player wins the AL MVP after this historic meltdown, I will leave this forum forever.

Even though I don't think Ellsbury should win, his team collapsing should not effect his status as a candidate.. Although it will.

im not saying he's MVP, but Jacoby is having a monster September, not his fault they are melting
especially the past 7 days

the meltdown is more on the starting pitching
and by more, i mean like 90%

Regardless, the Diamondbacks are going to have a deadly rotation for a while. Kennedy, Hudson, Parker, Bauer, wow.

i dont think they're the new giants, but i do like those names

i like what the dodgers have too

it's too bad we suck. no one is talking about kenley jansen
i sound like a homer, but he's seriously the best reliever in the NL
he has the highest K/9 ever

how about this, 33 of his last 39 outs have been via the K, and he's only allowed 1 of 22 inherited runners to score

underrated much?

Reyes gets a bunt single. They pull him for a pinch runner. .337 avg. Braun needs to go 3-3 or 3-4 tonight to win batting title.

Bushleague by the Mets. total bushleague. And it sucks even more for the fans at Citi Field who only showed up to hold signs and show their support for Jose Reyes. Really sucks for them.
