I know I'm going to be really sad when all our veterans retire like Jeter, A-Rod, Mo and those guys, but I'm really starting to like what our future is looking like. I'm a firm believer that Eduardo Nunez can be a good SS in the future. He has great range and a cannon for an arm. He makes some boneheaded plays and throws the ball when he should just hang on to it but I really like what I see from him defensively and I think he'll be able to hold his own at the plate. Can't wait to get some of the young pitchers up like Banuelos and Betances too.

Bad base running FTW.
And I don't understand why Scherzer blows dick now.

Off topic but I was watching a Chris Perez interview, and he said if someone ever blew a kiss at him after they hit a homer, he would stalk them around the base path the entire time and shout during all of it. Then every time he faced them for the rest of their career he would throw a fastball at his ribs lol.

I've watched Peralta for years.. All you have to do is throw low and away breaking balls and he won't hit it, but he'll try to.

He is having an All-Star caliber season.
Can't argue with his numbers.

I'm not arguing his numbers but he is one of the worst hitters I have ever seen when it comes to chasing breaking balls.
