Haha. That would be sweet as hell to have one of your real good friends go pro in any sport. As long as they don't forget about you when they get big ha.

They listed Harper as an Outfielder when he was selected
He said a while ago he wasn't playing catcher in the MLB and the Nats just said they'll put him in the OF. I thought he'd be a 1B but its straight

Which will probably happen unless you're like their best friend

I actually chilled with Cam Bedrosian Saturday lol

lol the Dodgers drafted some big time HS QB committed to LSU, looks like their owner is purposely trying to not sign their first round pick.

I dont know rather to be excited about this guy..Christian Colon are not. Some people feel like it was a reach.

Changed the title name, figured it was more fitting.

IMO it was but it might pay off. Dude has raw power and displays all the time from what I've seen/read

Glad to see Bryce Brentz off the board. He had been sliding. Its his signability thats in question but I think the Sox have it all under control. He could be a huge steal.

At 44, the Tigers take Nick Castellanos a 3B. Was projected top 20 I believe, supposed to have one of the best bats out of high school. Sounds like a nice pick.

At 48, we take Chance Ruffin. Was a good closer at Texas, should be a nice set up man one day though.

Just saw this. I was reading up on Nick a bit and I guess he will be a very solid player.

Ruffin was the Big 12 pitcher of the year. Apparently went from a starter to a closer. Interesting to see what kind of role he plays, they say a set-up will be likely it though.

Someone on the Operation Sports forums made a sick ass CAP for Bryce Harper. With his face and ratings. About to create him tomorrow. Look at this:

Wow. Looks like Anthopolous is trying to stack up on pitching. He picked a pitcher in the 1st round and got more pitchers in the comepnsation round. Hopefully his draft strategy works.

MLB draft is kinda pointless to talk about now and say who had good picks.. It won't be known for 5 years not to mention most 1st round picks dont pan out.

Some of the Gms don't even sign their picks either.
