Dont be fooled off one game. Lakers are more talented than the cavs. The thing that separates them is heart and the cavs sense of urgency. They know if they don't win now bron may be gone next year.

The lakers are more lacksidasical about things for some reason. Which is weird because aside from Kobe and fish these guys haven't won jack.

Do you really think tha Lakers are more talented than the Cavs? just wondering. I think they have different styles but like you said the cavs have more willpower

Its not just 1 game, they gave up a game in the Jazz series. AND they have given up 2 in this series. Teams who want it more end up winning it all. I mean seriously the Rockets dont have Yao and T-mac. Thats pathetic.

I will even go out of my way and say that the Nuggets will beat the Lakers in the WCF.

They are more talented. Only advantages the cavs have is lebron. And they have a point guard advantage of course. We all know kobe will dominate delonte. Pau may be softer than wet bread. But he still is a solid 19 and 9 when he plays like he has some fukkin heart. And if bynum can get his head in the game once he can be trouble. But the real mismatch is gonna be LO who was a huge key in the lakers beating the cavs the second time they played.

BTW: FPS your really going out on a limb there. You cant expect them to win every game. You also forget the cavs played a horrible detroit team and a horrible coached hawks squad.

I know you cant expect them to win every game. But when you are more talented, better coached, and have more experience in these situations you close out these types of series'. You have more drive than the other team to win.

Ill agree they should be salivating at the mouth at these oppurtunities. I also believe phil has coached horribly this series. Why continue to start fisher when you know thats a advantage for the rockets and farmar matches up better. His rotations are horrible. He's simply a overrated coach. But i believe this is the type of wake up call the lakers need to get that sense of urgency. We all know game 7 wont be close. Kobe is playing for his legacy now.

The Wakeup call shouldve been that other Rockets beat down......

These Lakers arent the Spurs or Lakers of old who can turn it on in an instant theyre not as good as though dynasty teams. If they were I wouldnt be as worried, but those teams could coast and turn it on in the playoffs.

i think we should all chill out about the Cavs
I mean they are a great great team, but they played the Washington Generals and Georgia Tech(shoutout to SLAM).

Lakers are just uck right now though. I mean we should win game 7 if everything stays the same, but still. I'm not liking what I saw today. I mean part of it was just us missing shots and them getting some lucky breaks, but we still can't be having that happen.

IF we do win game 7, I feel pretty good about the Nuggets series for the Lakers sake. They have absolutely nobody on that team who can even attempt to check Kobe. I mean look who Kobe's going against this series and he has still gone off. This is as good as the defense gets for a Lakers opponent. Just an unlucky break

on another note, I'm sick of everyone calling Dwight Howard, "Superman".
He's not.
Someone should have just given his ass the "Flight Dwight" tag > _>

The Nuggets will be ten times more physical than the Rockets. Have a deeper bench in Smith, Anderson, and Carter. They have a true closer in Carmelo who is lighting it up and they have that veteran prescence with Chauncey.

Im going out on a limb here, but for me its the perfect storm.....

Thats not really going out a limb tbh. Pugz said it a few weeks ago. I said it jokingly a few days back.

i dont want to do this because the Lakers arent even in WCF yet, so take this with a grain of salt

IF we do face the Nuggets...

Lakers are lucky because they dont have a speedy penetrating guard. Chauncey is slow and crafty. Fisher cant lock him down, he'll get his numbers, but this is a better match-up for him than Brooks/Lowry.

They also don't have the low post presence the Rockets have.
and I know everything we do lives and dies with Kobe, and he is usually the difference, the NUggets have absolutely no one who can guard him. Looking at who would be on him is laughable. And if they double team, it would work in our favor. Lakers obviously aren't playing up to their potential consistently.

Look at this too. The Nuggets are playing about as well as they possibly can and they should be up 3-2 rather than 4-1 win.
They would be without HCA which would be huge

BUT, we can talk about this if the Lakers can actually close out Houston on Sunday

Is this post a joke? It's like not the Lakers are playing good/great teams either. The Jazz are terrible and you're going to a game 7 against a team whose second best player is Luis Scola.

The Jazz are horrible? I am well aware they were the 8th seed, but they are far from horrible.

Yeah, if I remember correctly they were like the 5th seed in the west before the last week of the season came around.

There post defense is extremely terrible, and there defense in general is not good, just a high scoring offense. It's an easy win for the Lakers when they basically are a better version of that.

All I have to say is Aaron Brooks FTW! What a great game he played last night. I'm going to contribute that game last night more to how well the Rockets played than by how poorly the Lakers played. On Sunday, the Lakers will probably be vitorious, but credit has got to be given to this Rockets team. Brooks, Scola, and Artest have all been huge in the playoffs and credit must be given to Rick Adelman. He's been on the cusp of greatness his entire coaching career, but he falls short to Phil Jackson about every time.

I said it'd go to 7 didnt I? Scola and Landry were exciting yesterday. Nuggets should destroy the Lakers IF they play them.
