Word is that Jennings outplayed Holiday in a kings workout.
With concerns over his strength, shooting and buyout, Ricky Rubio has gone from the consensus number two pick to one of the many wild cards in this year's NBA Draft.
Rubio is not interested in Memphis or Washington and the Thunder appears to be leaning toward selecting James Harden or Stephen Curry. The Kings were thought to be a sure bet but sources in Sacramento tell ESPN that it's far from a lock that they'll pick him if he's still on the board.
Still, Rubio's agent Dan Fegan said the flashy-passing playmaker will remain in the Draft.
Rubio is on his way to the U.S. but it is unlikely he'll participate in a team workout.
Yeah Ive seen Curry picked by the Thunder, Washington, and even Golden St.Rumor has it Curry might be gone before the 8th pick. If that happens who would you like to see Dez? Some mocks I see either have the Knicks picking Holiday or Jennings. Neither would be bad picks IMO. A lot better than Curry. I honestly don't see Curry as anything more than an Eddie House type player at best.
isnt it with the mavs? The wiz want to move their pick.
probablyI heard that casspi dude destroyed daye in a workout.
"Rubio lands in Los Angles today and will begin to evaluate his options regarding who he may work out with. At this point, the Sacramento Kings are the only team that are certain to get a visit. Memphis and Oklahoma City are not on the agenda as of now, and it’s not yet clear whether they will be added." - Jonathan Givony, DraftExpress
The Sacramento Kings are doing their best to convince people that they have Tyreke Evans at the top of their board, even going as far as to tell Evans as much in their workout last week. Most NBA people we speak to believe that this is nothing more than them "blowing smoke" in order to give themselves a backup plan in case Rubio is gone at #2 or #3, and also to "stir the pot" amongst Rubio’s camp.
