we're not the '01 Mariners >.<

when we get a solid pitcher at the deadline, it'll be all good.

we've been winning 1 run games though. i love to see that from us

Whose your bridge to Broxton? Kuo has not been doing so well. And neither has Mota, which is no surprise there. Is it Troncoso?

who exactly are you looking at as a deadline pickup?

very good point
Belisario has been, but he's been iffy lately. either he's terrific or horrible. no inbetweens
it's supposed to be Cory Wade who was excellent last year for us. he's been on the DL and is coming back next week I think I heard.

so to answer your question it's Belisario and Kuo at the moment. Depends on what Torre wants. Last night was Kuo who wasnt that bad. but when Wade comes back, it should be him

no one inparticular
Ned Colletti, GM, always makes trades at the deadline though. We do need another starter so if someone becomes available, we could try and get him

or maybe get a FA like Pedro if he lowered his price

mhm, because I find the setup man more important than the actual closer. Thats where games are won and lost. 7th and 8th with men on and the setup man closing the door. It will prolly be:

Kuo,Wade,Broxton.

With Torncoso getting in there as well if he can keep it up.

I know you have high hopes but I doubt you'll get Doc. Whether Toronto is shopping him or not, I don't think you have the guys to get him, no offense lol

IDK about Petey, I'm hearing some grumblings that the Nats may be interested in him, even at his 5 mil price. They are in DESPERATE need of a spark and some quality talent. They have the money and I think it could work..a homecoming of sorts.

If he's still pitching well, Kevin Millwood might be a nice pick up..and the Rangers have a history of making horrible trades.

Ive got these 3 possibly being traded. As well as Milwood.

Jake Peavy
Roy Halladay
Erik Bedard (looking great so far)

Forgot Bedard

But Halladay is too pricey, to me anyway, for the Dodgers and no way in hell Peavy goes to a rival

Halladay is a pipe dream lol
best case for us would be anything not involving Bills/Kershaw/Kemp.
if we get him, it's as a FA.

Bedard could be a possibility
and names like you said such as Millwood or maybe Washburn.
someone like that though

but how hot would this be?

Can't wait for the Sox/Yanks game.

AL East standings:
Blue Jays 13-6
Red Sox 11-6
Yankees 9-8
Orioles 8-10
Rays 7-11

Our bullpen has been disgraceful these last two games, hopefully they can turn it around.

lmao, it happens when you have a rookie SP going through various new ballparks.

Mets got killed too, 8-1. Perez sux and mets should tacked on a couple more runs, a disgrace that Opez is signed for 4 years.

we got SF next. Wolf vs. Zito, Billingsley vs. Sanchez I think, Lince<Censored> vs. Stults

Mexi I think you spelled it wrong.

Its Lincecum, lmao. But you seriously have to admit that you guys have the easiest division to win. Maybe the AL West, but the A's are better and so are the Rangers.
