Victor Martinez with a 2 run bomb, 4-5 on the night now. He is on a tear, I don't care what anyone says, best catcher in the league, finally healthy again and showing how great he is. Batting around .400 on the year with 5 homers.
idk, McCann and Mauer?

i do like Victor though

I'd say Victor is up there, maybe not the best but I watched him against the Yanks and he looked good.

It is just great to see him back healthy.. He was battling injuries all of last year, and missed a lot of games, only got 2 home runs, don't remember his average. Now he is just flat out hitting everything.

Kerry Wood gets the save.. He gave up a 2 run bomb, elevated a fastball that DeJesus pounced on, but Wood looked dominating like he has all year, 2 strike outs in the inning. 8-7 Indians win. Thank god Victor smashed that homer.

oh noz the sky iz FalliNg

Dodgers lost

Manny hit a 2 run homer down by 4 in the 7th.
Astros score in the 8th
Astros by 3 in the 9th. Furcal gets on, Hudson gets on, Manny hacks and misses a game tying 3-run homer by like 4 feet. i really thought it was gone.
oh well, we'll get em tomorrow

Cliff Lee going tonight after his great performance in the first game at the New Yankee Stadium. Hopefully he has another great start, and we don't have to use any of our bullpen besides Kerry Wood.

Tony Sipp just made his major league debut for the Indians, had a perfect 9th inning, struck out a guy, looked like he had some good velocity on his fastball and a good breaking pitching. Hopefully he can contribute this year, because we need his lefty arm, Perez sucks this year. Down 2-0 going into the 9th -_- Lee pitched a great game and couldn't get him a damn run.

Lol, the ump calls a ball on Soria's curve, Crowe fouls off a couple pitches, he throws the same curve, in the same place, and it's called strike 3. I wish we could get some consistency back there. If they called a strike on the first curve he threw, it wouldn't bother me, but they called it a ball, so I think it should be called a ball if the same pitch happens. Anyway, we had guys on base against Soria, we always seem to hit him well, but we can't ever finish the deal against him.
