Doubleheader at Yankee Stadium. Gonna be another fun game to watch. Carl Crawford doesnt get the recognition he deserves.
I bolded the stuff that actually shows who the better pitcher is, not who plays on the team that gives the most run support. The only thing CC is better at is pitching more innings.Baggino said:almost as laughable as AJ Burnett being the best pitcher in the AL.
Two months don't mean jack sht when it comes to Cy Young, an award that is based on season performance not two months.
Get over it, there is a better pitcher that doesn't play on the Yankees and it's Zach Greinke hands down..
Sabathia: 16-7, 3.48 ERA, 2 CG, 1 SHO, 199.1 IP, 167 K, 50 BB, 1.134 WHIP
Greinke: 13-8, 2.32 ERA, 6 CG, 3 SHO, 190.1 IP, 202 K, 40 BB, 1.077 WHIP
BUT, since that's not going to do anything for you, i'll use your argument. Last 2 months (July-August)
Sabathia: 8-3, 3.56 ERA, 0 CG, 83.1 IP, 80 K, 18 BB
Greinke: 3-5, 2.88 ERA, 1 CG, 75 IP, 88 K, 22 BB
W/L don't mean jack when you play for teams that can score 10 runs at any given moment
8.5 games back and will be nine after we sweep the doubleheader.Beckett lead the league in wins during the 2007 season...where's his Cy Young?
Papelbon has a better record, more games finished, and more innings pitched...he's better than Rivera.

Who knows? But CC has been near untouchable over the last two months, coming at the right time.Lol, I'd love to see CC play for a team that didn't give him run support like the Royals. I'd like to see how many wins he'd have then.
So has most of the Cy-Young contenders..... That's why they are contenders.Who knows? But CC has been near untouchable over the last two months, coming at the right time.
