Zach Miner is complete trash lol.
That was a terrible choice to bring him in.

So much for the 3 and a half game lead of Chicago. Already back to 2.5....

Kemp's was better though.

speaking of Kemp, read this cheato.

Matt Kemp gets on base more than any player in the majors when leading off an inning, according to STATS LLC.

Among players with at least 50 plate appearances to open an inning, Kemp ranked first through Thursday with a .464 average and .521 on-base percentage. He drew 10 walks in his first 94 plate appearances when starting an inning.

On Friday, Kemp singled to start the bottom of the third and struck out when leading off the bottom of the fifth.
he's also top 5 all-time in batting average with balls in play. so take out K's and walks I think.
at some point this season he was 2nd behind Babe Ruth

Aren't you the one who always complains at ESPN for showing weird stats that nobody uses to look at players?

it's different with baseball though and you know it :p

and what a boring walk off. that crowd sucks
but i give them a pass
They had the best crowds back in the 90s, they had the record for the most sell outs in a row, but the Red Sox broke it. No reason to go to games now
