I'm still wondering where JH5 is with all of this "8-0" talk...
add Jed Lowrie to the list aswell, he's a pretty solid shortstop, a lot better than Nick GreenI didn't say it was just star players, I was just saying that now everyone seems to be taking days off or going on the DL. Jason Bay has missed some time and it shows.
And it's not like missing Wake or Dice-K is minor for us. Dice-K had a VERY good year last year and Wakefield was having a good one this year. Having those two would keep pressure off, and maybe keep us from continuously using, Smoltz and Buchholz and Penny.
just like we're facing a different Yankee team, you're facing a different Red Sox teamI'm still wondering where JH5 is with all of this "8-0" talk...
Look at AJ's last eight starts and then get back to us.Royals down 3-1 in the 3rd lol, Nationals winning currently 4-2
hmmm, could be down to 3.5 games after tonight
btw Burnett hasn't been amazing. He leads the MLB in walks
Everyone has a bad day once in a while, but the Yanks have had a lot more good than bad lately and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.excluding his 7 run game against the White Sox?
A cy young award winner in the AL who nearly won it pitching in the NL for 2 months? But he's terrible in the post-season.What exactly are his standards...b/c according to most of SI, the guy isn't even as good as he is made out to be.
Meh...I didn't think Melancon was that bad in the bigs but I guess its a spot where it won't hurt to change it up a bit. Towers 4-6, 3.42 ERA with the SWB Yankees. Where the hell is Guadin, by the way?wow the Yankees called up Josh Towers
SMH!
He is. I saw an article on it last night.I read that Towers was just going to be DFA'd again to make room for Gaudin, so who knows?
