I'm still wondering where JH5 is with all of this "8-0" talk...

I didn't say it was just star players, I was just saying that now everyone seems to be taking days off or going on the DL. Jason Bay has missed some time and it shows.

And it's not like missing Wake or Dice-K is minor for us. Dice-K had a VERY good year last year and Wakefield was having a good one this year. Having those two would keep pressure off, and maybe keep us from continuously using, Smoltz and Buchholz and Penny.
add Jed Lowrie to the list aswell, he's a pretty solid shortstop, a lot better than Nick Green

just like we're facing a different Yankee team, you're facing a different Red Sox team

and I believe he was last on at 1 this morning where I don't talking baseball was #1 priority but w/e..keep picking a fight with someone who isn't here.

hmmm, could be down to 3.5 games after tonight

btw Burnett hasn't been amazing. He leads the MLB in walks

Look at AJ's last eight starts and then get back to us.

Everyone has a bad day once in a while, but the Yanks have had a lot more good than bad lately and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

I didn't say it reflected how well he is doing on the year, you just said look at his last 8 games...which that was one of.

Damn I just cursed it, Royals just scored 4 runs.

Is it bad that I'm cheering for us to lose and want us to have worse record so we can get Bryce Harper?

idk probably lol. We've not been afraid to go after high priced prospect last two drafts

wow, jacobs and olivo go back-to-back

two guys who hit like .220 combined finally.

First time Royals have hit back to back this year

What exactly are his standards...b/c according to most of SI, the guy isn't even as good as he is made out to be.
A cy young award winner in the AL who nearly won it pitching in the NL for 2 months? But he's terrible in the post-season.

Anyway, Masterson was on a 60-65 pitch limit today. Went 4 innings, struck out 4, gave up 1 run on 4 hits.

Carl Pavano beat the Tigers again lol. Went 7 scoreless innings. He's 4-0 vs them.

wow the Yankees called up Josh Towers

SMH!
Meh...I didn't think Melancon was that bad in the bigs but I guess its a spot where it won't hurt to change it up a bit. Towers 4-6, 3.42 ERA with the SWB Yankees. Where the hell is Guadin, by the way?

I read that Towers was just going to be DFA'd again to make room for Gaudin, so who knows?
