Ok but if you don't win the WS, you walk away with the same thing the Giants did

NOTHING
Give me five reasons (other than A-Rod and Girardi) as to why the Yankees most certainly won't win the world series. Since you're so sure about it, you should have no problem explaining.

I have no problem with explaining

1. Their team isn't ready for the playoffs, both physically and mentally as recent years suggest
2. Their pitching isn't good enough to lift them a WS title
3. Their offense will slump YET AGAIN
4. Boston is stockpiled and they'd have to get past them before they can even think about a WS
5. If they were to make it to the WS, the NL team would demolish them

I wish that I had a crystal ball or some tarot cards like you apparently do.

1. The Yankees have won 10 of 11 since the ASG and 23 of their last 29.
2. Sabathia, Burnett and Joba have all been great lately as the bullpen with Hughes, Aceves, Coke and the best closer of all time.
3. Really? The same offense who has scored the most runs in baseball and will most likely have that home field advantage?
4. The same Boston who got swept by the Rangers and recently lost a series to the lowly Jays?
5. Dodgers? Overrated. Phillies? Maybe if they got Halladay. Rockies? That SOS is almost as bad as SF's. Cardinals? Even less of a chance than the Rockies.

It's a fact.... Standings don't matter, because they are leading the Wild Card and if they meet you in the playoffs, your done. Thanks, goodbye.
If you guys can beat them, we shouldn't have too much of a proble.

We beat you two times so, and the Jays always play good against the Red Sox. They still beat you 8 times, it doesn't matter who beat whoelse.

And we've beaten you five times, and we shelled your ace for 3 HR's on the 4th of July. The Yankees historically have the best post ASG record in MLB over around the last decade.

4. it's called a slump...but the Yankees have never heard that word, right?
5. If the Dodgers are overrated then so are the Yankees. How on this freaking planet do the Cardinals have less of a chance than the Rockies? They are tearing the cover off the ball right now and Pujols-Holliday is a better combo to have than Teix-"GayRod".

Why don't you, for ONCE, take a step down from the high pedestal that you sit and have the Yankees on...I know it's REALLY, REALLY, HARD....and realize the incredible stupidity that spews from your mouth. Being a bit of a homer, hell, being a full-fledged homer, is one thing, but you are in your own planet and, honestly, it's really annoying to have to see this garbage you post daily.

I honestly hope that you do this to get a reaction out of people.

4. The Yankees have slumps, but they are one of the best teams at getting out of a slump. And there is a stat to prove that.
5. The only other 3-4 combo I would even consider taking over Teixeira (25 HR) and A-Rod (19 HR after missing a month) are Mauer and Morneau.

And yes, a good portion of the time I love seeing people react to my "homerness".

Are you annoyed that despite being 8-0 against us, you find yourselves back of us in the standings?
Theo is getting desperate I see...

4. Show me then because I don't know of this stat...honestly.
5. I'd rather face them than Pujols and Holliday, but w/e, to each his own.

I figured but, hey, people can be delusional.

And I'd really like to know where I said any of that.......or where Theo said, or was accused of, being desperate. Outside of New York that is.

Pujols, Holliday? I'd take that over Tex, and A-Rod as well.

Fielder strikes out a bit too much for me and isn't the power hitter A-Rod is, but they are definitely a pretty formidable duo.

1. Regular season means nothing but seeding
2. Regular season means nothing but seeding
3. Regular season means nothing but seeding
4. Yes the same Boston who's got an 8 game streak going on New York
5. Dodgers will take the Yanks down. Phils would too without Halladay. Rockies might not. Cardinals will pwn them
