Actually, he was taken by the Cubs in 2003, out of high school.
Then he didn't sign, went to college, entered the draft in 2005, got drafted by the Indians out of the University of Washington.
Didn't sign then either, went back to college, and was drafted the next year by San Fransisco.

Actually, we drafted him out of college but he returned and become a first rounder. He went to Washington.
