Has anyone noticed that the Angels have quietly taken back the west? They just always manage to find a way even with all their pitching injuries.

Yeah never even noticed, should be a close race near the end though between LA, Seattle, and Texas.

Jays face the Rays tonight, if we don't win this series, I will give up on the season unless the Jays can go on some sort of run.

you never know, the Jays had a crazy good run last year after the all-star break, and they could possibly do it again

however that run was probably due to new faces

We all knew the pitching wasn't a problem, we had the best pitching staff in the league last year, the hitting was just awful! As soon as Cito and his crew came in, the hitting was dramatically better, and we had the best second half W-L record in baseball I hear.

The Rays are quietly only 2 games back of the wild card behind the yankees. I think I had Red Sox winning the East and yankees winning the wild card.

We dont play until 10:05. I`m not sure I can wait that long!!

Also, saw Price got his 2nd win on the year for the Rays last night. I like seeing him get wins.

Poor Nationals. Anyone Heard of the kid Bryce Harper?
16 years old and can hit 550 feet. Holds the world record for longest hit in tropicana field ever. Going to be in Next Years Draft Class. he is a catcher and throws 98 mph. He is the Real Deal.

Halladay will stay, he's loyal, he's not the kind of pitcher that wants publicity in New York.

He may not want the publicity, but he might want to have a chance at a title.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Maybe after next season, he's ready to move on and sign with a contender.

2010 is our year.

Halladay-Marcum-Romero-Tallet-Litsch

You can even put McGowan in there if he can get back. Our rotation will once again be the best in the majors, and Romero has shown his potential.
