LaPorta is plenty ready, we never call up top prospects, we seem more content with winning in Triple A. And Wedge is clearly a minor league coach. Before he came here he was in the minors, and you can see, by all of his constant lineup changes even though we are top 5 in the MLB in runs scored. They stress consistency from the players, I'd like it from the manager.
he hasnt been wild lately though. but i see where your coming from.
he was kinda rushed up last year, but coming into this season, we had to keep him on the roster.
he was inbetween. to good for AAA but maybe not so ready for MLB
but like i said, he's getting it together. i feel good
as for your indians, he'll be called up soon. i mean you gave up the season trading DeRosa.
and Wedge will be fired wont he?
He doesn't have a lot of fastball command yet, but because he has great stuff he gets away with it.
Even though the season is over, it wasn't necessarily giving up. Asdrubal Cabrera just got activated off the DL, and our batting is still very good without DeRosa. Perez is a decent/good bullpen guy, instantly has become our best arm out of the pen and only 23. So it should help us now and in the future, even though we're done for this year. And LaPorta right now is better then our starting LF, seriously don't understand why he's not up.
Probably avoids arbitration longer if he is not up for a certain time period. But whatever, I want to see the man we traded one of the best pitchers in the league for. Not Ben Francisco.
I just can't imagine how good this Indians team could have been this year if we had a good bullpen.. Over 13 blown saves now, it's ridiculous. Not to mention all of the 1 run leads they have turned into 4 for the other team. Cliff Lee should be an all-star despite his win loss record. Choo and Victor should get in as well.
Choo, really?
i havent noticed
Victor will get in.
idk about Lee. i dont think W/L matters as much though. he probably will
idk about Casey Blake. Numbers say he should, but Wright, Zim, and maybe Mark Reynolds of AZ gets in ahead of him
well Wright is a lock, Zim is too. It's between Reynolds and Blake. hopefully Blake gets the nod.
haren could be AZ's only all-star
Choo has been all around great this year, near .300 average, 9 homers, 40+ RBIs, 2nd in the AL in On base percentage, 3rd in the MLB in assists I believe. This guy makes incredible defensive plays, and guns down people as well. 12 for 12 on stolen bases as well. He does EVERYTHING you could want from one hitter.
Just watch this http://cleveland.indians.mlb.com/media/vid...13&c_id=cle
He nearly doesn't get the ball out, but does, and guns down a fairly fast runner.
Yea, Blake prob wont make it cause of competition lol. Glad to see he's doing well though.
