Indians escape the 8th inning, Cardinals had the bases loaded after scoring 2 but no other damage. 5-3 going to the bottom of the 8th and Kerry Wood gets the 8-9-1 batters in the 9th.

A-Rod slams his bat for popping up to cause a Yankees 8-7 loss, but Castillo drops the ball and the Yanks win it, I was pissed and when Castillo dropped the ball I flew out of my seat. Yankees win 9-8 in Signature Walk-Off fashion.

Bard allows the first hitter to reach, strikes out Werth and Howard, hits Ibanez, then strikes out Victorino to end the game. Sox win. 5-2, in 13.

Bard is such a tank, I wish he didn't have to go for Smoltz.

The Mets/Yanks game was just unbelievable...I imagine Castillo feels like dog <Censored> right now.

Giants win and Dodgers lose :D

Also, Giants are tied for the lead in the NL wildcard

Can A-Rod possibly be anymore un-clutch?

Great assist by Castillo, who is typically a very good defensive player. It happens to the best of 'em sometimes.

this whole time i've been clowning your team, i really hadn't realized the rest of the NL was wack as well.

Your right. one more bat and you guys could make the playoffs

speaking of bats, Dodgers' have disappeared. Manny can't come sooner

DeRosa is starting to hit A LOT better. Average up to .277, 10 homers and 42 RBIs. Also with him on the team we are always able to put in some young guys on the infield at times to give them some playing time. DeRosa has played 14 games in the outfield and 7 games at first along with his 40 games at 3rd.

I know. I can't even stress how much I want a bat for the Giants.
Just anything.

Sanchez for DeRosa

What a day in baseball.

3-time Gold Glover Luis Castillo botches a pop-fly, and results in a 9-8 Yanks win.

Milton Bradley loses the ball in the sun in the outfield, and later throws the ball into the stands thinking there was 3 outs, when it was only 2, resulting in a 7-4 Twins win.

Porcello goes 2-3, 2 RBI`s getting his 1st hits in the Major Leagues. 1st Tiger pitcher to do that since Miner in '06. Tigers won 3-1 against the Pirates.

Porcello will be a great pitcher as a Tiger, but it would be a wrap if he was in the NL.

BTW I fell asleep early last night and find out that Castillo dropped a lazy pop-up by A-Rod for a walk off win. How un-clutch can A-Rod be lately?

VC I realize you don't think CC is overrated by looking in your quote. Because he is not, he'll be mowing down teams like crazy soon, always heats it up, and it looks like he has already started but he always works so many innings and he wares down in the playoffs and that's when the entire Yankee nation will call him overrated.
