It's funny how the A's were acquiring Holliday in hopes of making the playoffs and the Rockies wanted some specs so they could build for the future yet they're in the playoffs.

worked out huge for the Rox in the end, Gonzalez is beasting, Street is solid in the closer position, and the rest of the specs acquired in the deal are improving in the minors
