2008 NBA Draft Day Results/Deals

nba.com has fixed the trade:

In a three-team trade, Portland acquires the draft rights to Nicolas Batum from Houston; Houston acquires the draft rights to Donte Greene and second-round selection in 2009 from Memphis plus Joey Dorsey from Portland; and Memphis acquires the draft rights to Darrell Arthur from Portland.

Dang...crazy trade. Hope Greene will shine in Houston....and Arthur in Memphis. (But not as brightly as Hakim )

Luvin the Celtics picking up Bill Walker, if he can stay healthy he was a real nice pick-up, because i think he has alot of potential in this league. Not sure about the Giddens pick, but he did have some good stats in college (16 PPG, 9 RPG) as a guard.

I was pretty pissed with the bulls second round pick, and now its worse because they traded him for a guy who didnt look that impressive in the videopackage/highlights. We could have got CDR or Bill Walker atleast, but we got Rose so its still a good draft for us. Darrel Arthur going 27th was crazy.

No he wont, teams saw him what he was actually for, and thats why he didnt get drafted in the 1st round. He should be a solid NBA player, but nothing special.
