Charles Barkley said that the Celtics and Pistons are easily the best two teams in the East, and that the Magic are just descent.

Pistons are the only team to beat the 2 elites of the East by the way... Seeing as we all played eachother at least once.

Ya he is really surprising me.

But Pistons and Rockets at 6 today. Hopefully we continue this winning streak and beat some Rocket arse.

Rip do you watch any other NBA shows on ESPN?... Everyone thinks the Pistons are the team to beat still and that Boston is just a tad behind us. Everyone still belives the 'Stones are the Best in the East....
Oh the Cavs were a fluke.

So basically they are all proving our point!

Lakers and Suns game was a high scoring one, I was not pleased that the Blazers game wasn't on tv at the hotel in SLC. But glad to see them get a win, even if it was over Seattle.

Mavs-Jazz game was pretty sexy.

Mavs- 0
Jazz- 16

7:28 left in 1st

But now it's 29-18 Jazz after 1.

Does anyone here think Andrew Bynum has a legit shot at Most Improved player?
If not, who's ahead of him right now? Chris Kaman maybe? who else?

Hmmm probably. Azubuike and Brandon Bass were also top people for that, but they have slowed down. But perhaps Ronnie Brewer of the Jazz?

Azubuike
11.4 PPG
4.7 RPG
1.4 AST

Brewer:
13.0 PPG
2.8 RPG
2.3 AST

Bynum
12.5 PPG
10.1 RPG
1.6 AST
2nd most dunks(behind only Dwight)
8th in Blocks
2nd in FG%(62.5% and no.1 is 62.6%)

is Bynum #1?

Probably, plus he is on a bigger stage in LA, unlike Brewer and Azubuike.

[Bynum] may be the third best center in the league right now. After Dwight Howard and Yao Ming (not necessarily in that order), who would you rather have? Chris Kaman possibly; he has better numbers but they don't seem to be helping the Clippers all that much. Shaq is having trouble just staying on the court. Stoudemire is a forward playing out of position. Tyson Chandler is too one-dimensional. Same with Marcus Camby. Who else? Eddy Curry? Please. A scout told me he watched Bynum "destroy" Curry two years ago. Ben Wallace? Funny. If Bynum doesn't make your top three now, give him a year or so. He just turned 20 in October.
