Yao,T-Mac,Mike James, a good Steve Francis=pwnage. Dallas isn't any better from last season and the Spurs and the Rockets are. Suns>Mavs anyday.
Not to mention Shane Battier, who can cover J-Ho. And Chuck Hayes is turning out to be a really good player.

Hayes>Diop and Dampier.

Mavs and Rockets depth is easily even. EASILY even. Houston might have bigger names on there bench but the depth is the same.

Plus, your forgetting, Rockets always have trouble with injuries. I think they'll be better, but no way they win 55-60 games.

So everyone is saying the Mavs are the third best team in the division because we lost to the Warriors? Are people forgetting we won 67 games last year? I don't care if we choked in the playoffs this is the same crew that kicked everyones butt all of last year but the team we lost to and people are saying a team that won 67 games last year and has the same pieces if not better pieces then last year are the 3rd best team in the division? The Rockets are going to win 60-65 games? I doubt it. People are hyping them up way to much.

The Mavs didn't add anyone. The Rockets added James and Francis. The Spurs have Tim Duncan and Tony Parker and Manu are being great superstars.

That's nice to know. We didn't need to add anyone, we won 67 games and faced the team we were 0-3 in the season against. No reason to change and go acquire someone for facing 1 team. And also, Dirk and Howard aren't superstars? Plus not to mention we are finally going to see a under control version of devin Harris.

But San Antonio is obviously better than you, and I think Houston is as well....
Seriously, you need to stop being a mar....... wait, the almight admin will warn me...
Warnings are not necessary anymore. How about suspended 2 days? Would be 3 but since you are hosting the SL draft, I will cut it to 2 since I am so nice.

Division winners get the top 4 seeds no matter what their record
A 40 game winner could get the 4th seed as long as they win their division

I'm just saying...
Ya I didn't even have that in mind. Thanks. :D

Mavs > Rockets. Who cares if they picked up Francis, he isn't even very good anymore, and hasn't played well the past couple of years. And plus T-Mac always gets hurt. Dallas is also more proven in the playoffs and the more experienced team by far.

Nice try... Turns out the head admin finds no justification for you warning or banning me for name calling...

Keep talking... all you're doing is hurting this board. Like I said, if no action is taken, this board will be going downhill and I dont want that to happen...

But keep talking CC.

No, the board is going down because it's willing to just hand out admin position to anybody that walks up with a CSS coding...

I have the right to speak my mind freely. I don't care if you're feelings get hurt from me calling you names, you mean nothing to me....

I guess they didn't win the championship last year did they? They had injuries during the season and thats why they didn't do as good or better then the Mavs last season.
The Mavs still finshed in front of them. So why can't they do it again this year. The Spurs didn't get any better.

Not if the Rockets stay healthy.
Not possible

Do my eyes deceive me CC06, do you really have the Lakers as the 7th seed? Not even I think that they'll make the playoffs this year lol. But that's because I'm really banking on Kobe being traded by the deadline and that they hit the rebuild button.

I was so set on GS over them, but GS just has no idea what they're doing out there. Starting Azubuike and Pietrus over Harrington and Barnes, sending all rooks to the D-League, etc, it's almost hilarious how bad management is in Oakland...

Really man....you need to pay closer attention to Golden State games. Azubuike is a good player, he can shoot, rebound, defend, and he is a hustler. Also Pietrus has almost always gotten the nod over Barnes, both have an outside shot, but Pietrus' shot is a little bit better and he is a longer frame then Barnes. Barnes is brought in just because of defense. And did you pay any attention to them last season (obviously not)??? They were changing their starting line-up just about every other game.

I know preseason means nothing but the Knicks are looking damn good.

Its subtle things like the extra passes we are making and our guards (even Crawford) realizing that our best players are Curry and Randolph. Last night against the 76ers Jamal Crawford recieved a pass on the wing and had a WIDE open three, but it was clear his shot wasnt falling for him and he waited took a few dribbles and rifiled a pass into Z-Bo, Nate is still playing playmaker and everyone is just seeming to click. I dont see how we cant make the playoffs right now especially if we continue to play like this. here are my predictions.

Atlantic
1. Boston Celtics (1)
2. Toronto Raptors (5)
3. New York Knicks (7)
4. New Jersey Nets
5. Philadelphia 76ers

Central
1. Chicago Bulls (2)
2. Detroit Pistons (3)
3. Cleveland Cavaliers (4)
4. Milwaukee Bucks
5. Indiana Pacers

Southeast
1. Miami Heat (6)
2. Orlando Magic (8)
3. Washington Wizards
4. Charlotte Bobcats
5. Atlanta Hawks

Northwest
1. Utah Jazz (4)
2. Denver Nuggets (6)
3. Portland Blazers
4. Minnesota T'Wolves
5. Seattle Sonics

Pacific
1. Phoenix Suns (1)
2. LA Lakers (7)
3. Golden State Warriors (8)
4. Sacremento Kings
5. LA Clippers

Southwest
1. San Antonio Spurs (2)
2. Dallas Mavericks (3)
3. Houston Rockets (5)
4. Memphis Grizzlies
5. New Orleans Hornets
