I think that's a different beast altogether. There was so much talent on team USA that there wasn't a real hierarchy and nobody really cared about individual stats or fame over like a 7 game stretch.
Substitute Angola with the Wizards in a game 7 and Melo is probably gonna think differently...
One problem with Melo on the Cavs would be not having a long enough trial and error phase to become acquainted with each other.
LeBron's been through that building phase with other star players twice now and it never worked from the get go.
I know, being in the middle of the standings suck, but it sucks less than being at the bottom and staying at the bottom even if you draft well. Every year there are probably never gonna be more than 4 teams in the league actually contending, so you might as well have fun as a fan getting knocked...
