Yeah he struggled badly after he had tommy john. But working with Searage in pittsburgh helped revive his career. Besides, he's still has a career 3.64 xfip (which park and league adjusted). He's had a solid career not just in NL, but AL imo. I think he'd be a solid bullpen option as a long man...
He's 33 who's already had Tommy John history with a lot of mileage in his arm. His struggles this year literally has nothing to do with pitching in the al east.
He can pitch in the bullpen as a long man or spot start here in there in case of injuries. He's a shell of his former self obviously but he's an okay depth guy.
