The human element of baseball is why I love the sport too much. The NFL brought back replay and now games have morphed into over-technical contests where players not playing the QB position can do anything w/o it being reviewed.    Controversy is good for business.

Believe it or not there's trade interest in Reyes. The Rockies may have to eat a little bit of what's left on his deal but I'm sure they'll take a cheap deal in order to wipe their hands clean of the situation. The Yankees didn't seem to mind Chapman's domestic situation when they traded for him...

C'mon FPS, you cannot be serious. I get the x's and o's part of what you're saying but starting a franchise goes beyond the field. You need to market, sell tickets, attract sponsors, etc. No way in hell is Machado more marketable than Harper or Trout.

Bryce Harper and its not even close.   Lot of love for Trout and Kershaw but both are a tad older and Kershaw is on the field every 5th day. Harper is what, 22 years old, and already a polarizing sports figure. Harper may retire as the greatest player to ever play the game. 

So they fire Vogel...and then promote Nate??? LMFAO. This is the same Nate McMillan that ran this slow-ass offense that kept Brandon Roy from leading the league in scoring at the time. The same Nate McMillan who lost the locker room in Portland. F'ing Portland!
