And they let him get away with it because he's "small" and "gritty."   It's not a basketball play at all. At the high school and college levels, it's always an offensive foul on the guy undercutting, and at the high school level the player is often warned not to do it again or it'll be a T. I...

Asik would do himself wonders if he'd sell the fouls that are committed against, but he is not an actor.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Zach Lavine could steal Ricky Rubio's starting spot. I'd rather see him steal Martin's 2 spot because Rubio and Lavine have a crazy +/- mark when playing together, but Ricky can't stay healthy and is a really overrated defender.

Bickerstaff started Howard and Capela. I like it. TJones had been awful defensively.

    2015 NFL Gameday Thread

Quite frankly, the Vikings do not even deserve a playoff spot if they find a way to lose to Atlanta on Sunday. There would be no excuses, and I'd be ashamed of them. Do I think they're better than Green Bay right now? Not in the slightest, but as Green Bay continues to struggle with receivers...

Two straight terrible passes by my favorite NFL player. That sucks, man. Nevertheless, this team isn't any good. The OL is overrated. The receivers can't get separation. Dez Bryant runs the worst routes of any of the elite receivers. The 3 pass rushers they supposedly have rarely touch the...

I knew this Houston team would implode at some point. :(   I think DMo would really help them out, but he won't be himself until either playoff time or next season, and every loss in the West is big. To already have 10 is bad. This team needs a stretch of winnable games to build some confidence...

With Tony Romo behind center, Cowboys believe they can win out

^Nearly every good team in the history of the has closer-than-should-be matchups during their 16 game season. I wouldn't worry too much about that Colts score.   Carolina is the real deal and there's no question about that. Their weakness is in depth at certain positions (much like Dallas)...

With Tony Romo behind center, Cowboys believe they can win out

You're probably right but the difference between Tony Romo and backups is that Tony Romo can extend drives and shorten the game. He's not giving Cam nearly as many opportunities to score as either Cassel or Weeden would have. This should be a good game unless his teammates implode around him.
