Exactly. Question wasn't who is the better player, it's who woukd you rather acquire. A lot of factors. Most of the time the popular decision isn't the smartest decision.

Yea I mean - if your team is that close, like the Yankees, Stanton makes sense. Most team's don't want to pay a guy $25m+ until he's 37 or 38 or whatever.

Fine, I take it back - the NL doesn't benefit from interleague play. It levels the playing field.    I have 8 guns. My enemy has 9. He's either forced to give up 1 gun, or I gain 1 gun. Either scenario, neither of us has an advantage. It's a level playing field.
