It's tough to see that Modano is getting older and retiring soon. One of my favourite players growing up watching hockey. Joe Sakic, Mats Sundin, Modano, Chelios and others are all leaving the game, and it's kind of sad to me. Modano had an amazing career and paved the way for hockey in America.

I don't see how the voters can vote for Weaver when he only beats him in ERA by a few points.

I'm a big fan of Weaver. But Verlander has a better .BAA and .OBPA, plus with more strikeouts, and a better WHIP. Only think Weaver really beats him in is ERA. Guess we should make a Cy Young thread now :P
