They kind of correlate with each other most of the time but my argument is that a lower WHIP usually = a lower ERA and that's why I rank WHIP higher. You're allowing less batters on base which can in turn mean less runs looking at the big picture at least.
Big blow for the Pacers but great for George. This will definitely lower them in the standings though. I wish I took Paul George on my fantasy team now lol.
What do you personally measure a pitcher with more than the other in terms of ERA and WHIP? They're both pretty valid statistics after all -- but which one do you give more credit?
You can't say obviously because you don't really really know. Even if a team was all black that could be questionable. Anything is really questionable in most situations (in life really). But as I said it isn't something that should be brought up or something the Timberwolves organization should...
He got a good deal anyways and why add a distraction to a team that is expected to do great when the season is about to start? -- could affect the team negatively.
Though it is questionable, something like this really shouldn't be brought up... there's still non-white players on the team anyways. We shouldn't be looking at color as an issue on a team in my opinion, especially if the team is only focused on bringing the best talent possible to the team...
I think James has the potential to develop into a good number one. We're just used to seeing guys better than him on his team like Durant. Besides, he's my number one in 2k13 with my Kyrie, Harden backcourt :P
McCoy... are we still going through with this? Definitely would like to see this happen. And I really like Pugz idea. Gives it a bit of a twist and makes it more exciting to win given that there are more advantages to it.
If Timmy can make a comeback somehow than it obviously wouldn't be a bad deal for Boston but judging off last season, I'd think that Ellsbury is the better asset than Timmy at the moment. If Tim was at his best, I'd definitely rather have him -- cy young pitcher.
Not a bad trade at all for OKC, they get a good scorer in Kevin Martin and a youngin' in Jeremy Lamb who can be something special. Didn't expect this at all though -- I mean not this soon or close to the beginning of the season. I'm interested to see how Harden will do in Houston though.
I think Ibaka is the player the Thunder need more than Harden but Durant and Westbrook bring down Harden's scoring a lot you'd have to say. I'd be interested to see what his statistics would be on a team where he's the 1st or 2nd option -- I think an argument can easily be made that he's a max...

Some big questions about giving players big extensions. DeMar, Jennings, and Jrue are all questionable. I'm really hoping DeRozan can take that big leap this season though... I think it's his year.
The Thunder locking up Harden for less than the max would be amazing as well...
