Maybe try different render effects to bring him out more, and I'm not feeling the text

sorry man, not really feeling this. I think the render is too small for the sig space, looks almost too busy in one corner and in the opposite corner not enough going on?

Not to be nitpicky, but maybe try a layer>matting>defringe. This should get rid of the thin line of white around the cut.

Put a dark background behind it and then you'll see the background. I would just cut it out, I think it will still look good
