I don't think that's fair to say when the Raptors were 30th in the league in APG with Gay and are now 26th. I think we're something from 10-15th post Rudy Gay.
I agree he's had his streaky play. I guess time will tell what happens. He's one of the better point guards in the league though, I wouldn't say he's just average though. He's a starter and an above average defender. He hasn't really had the right team to flourish on in my opinion 'till now...
Raptors have beat the Pacers surprisingly a few times in the past couple years so if anything the Raptors can get 2 wins against the Pacers if they were to meet up. Against the Heat probably not... I think we've lost our last 16 games against them.
It's crazy how much the team has changed though. Raptors defence is definitely up there, I believe top 10 in the league. We had our season high in assists with 27 against Indiana and we've already tied it tonight and we just started the 4th quarter
Yessir, the Rudy Gay trade was really good for our young talent. When Rudy first came I was really worried about the development of Ross. He's finally looking good at that pick (at least as of late)
