As much as I despise seeing the Lions succeed despite Matt Stafford, it just goes to show that discipline on both sides of the ball can make a huge difference in this league. I thought they were fools to award Jim Caldwell an undeserved second chance as a head coach, but I continue to...

There's something about this Denver team that is significantly more tolerable than last year's squad--they have a great defense, and therefore they're not just a high scoring team that may or may not show up on the other side of the ball. Seeing Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware paired up...
PG: Ricky Rubio
SG: Corey Brewer
SF: Andrew Wiggins
PF: Thaddeus Young
C: Gorgui Dieng
Flip gonna go with the defensive lineup, see if it can score enough points.
Ok, so I'm probably kidding myself if I think Nikola Pekovic doesn't start, but they want to limit his minutes, anyway, and Dieng...
Post your Week 7 reactions in this thread.
--Percy Harvin must be the biggest headache in recent history.
--Cordarrelle Patterson is starting to quit on routes. This is not good.
--How awesome are Tony Romo and Eli Manning in comparison to Nick Foles and 3 Cousins McCoy?
--Atlanta, proof...
Trying individual threads again, but using the new format.

I don't know how or why, but Rex's Jets almost always play the Patriots tough, even when they aren't supposed to. At the same time, hanging around and having a chance to tie the Broncos late says a lot about the resilience of...

This thread is pretty simple. One poster poses a question, the next answers that question and poses a new one. I'll start us off.
Have Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas worked their way into the Best WR in the league discussion?
Use this thread to give praise where it's due, criticism where it's needed.
Praise for the Minnesota Vikings:
1. I'd like to give a shout out to Rick Speilman for being a draft mastermind over the past two seasons, securing three first round picks last year and two first round picks this past...
Post your reactions to week 6 in this thread
1. Seattle's defense is definitely vulnerable without CB depth, but Richard Sherman is as good as advertised.
-I think some folks get carried away with their hatred for Sherman, to the point that any time a reception is made against him people want...
1. DeMarcus Ware. Who would have guessed, right?
2. Marshawn Lynch. Fantastic player to watch who rarely loses yards.
3. Thomas Davis. 3 surgeries doesn't often equate to underrated stud who might be better than his running mate who everybody loves.
4. Tyrann Mathieu. Playmaker!
5...
1. Chad Greenway. Small town dude who made it big in the league and has led the Vikings in tackles for years. Supremely underrated player who would have been more well-known in other uniforms. Glad he's a Viking.
2. Josh Robinson. This kid is pure effort at he cornerback position. He plays...
Let's just say I already fucked up the score of tonight's game lol
21 Texans 17
In a surprisingly close matchup for Andrew Luck knobslobberers, the Colts pull it off on a late touchdown, but otherwise struggle to get in scoring range for much of the game, solidifying just how good this Texans...
Post your reactions to Week 5's games in this thread:
1. The Vikings, as a team, will not perform with Christian Ponder at quarterback. He was bad, but his teammates didn't even try. It was sickening to watch. It definitely would have mattered if the team would have put forth something of an...

Cutting Kenbrell Thompkins is mind boggling, almost as mind boggling as keeping Aaron Dobson off the field, altogether. Young receivers and inconsistent. Sounds normal, right? Apparently not, if you're Bill Belichick, whose side of the ball (defense) has been relatively inconsistent for years...
We thought the Steelers were back, especially after they trounced Carolina in week 3. They followed that up by playing down to Tampa Bay, and losing. The only question that remains is if this team can compete with the other two powerhouses in their own division.
Thoughts?
When we say AFC South, most people simply assume that the Indianapolis Colts have the division locked up. Surprisingly, the Texans are off to a 3-1 start with an incredibly impressive defense, and offense that's just good enough, so far.
What do you guys think?
The Kansas City Chiefs suffered an underwhelming loss in week 1, only to put in 3 fantastic performances to follow up, winning two out of three, so the question is, are the Chiefs on the rise? Or are they simply out performing their talent level?
Discuss.
