And they have a number of good radio programs. And other companies acquiring distributions rights has done what exactly? Cause no one has emerged as a potential threat to ESPN. Again, what are they supposed to do? The opinion shows are the only ones that aren't easily replaced by the internet

Seriously, I know a lot of people wish they would go back to only showing highlights but to me that seems kinda irresponsible of them and also seems like it's not a viable business model with social media/youtube/reddit etc.
Fair, but rooting for their failure doesn't make a ton of sense. Just don't watch it if you don't like it. There's still a number of quality programs they have.

First take gets views and can be highly entertaining, it's not why they're losing viewers. Most of the ratings drops can be attributed to cord cutters than anything else, not to mention how the internet has diminished the need to show highlights
Yea his post game might be nice, but that's not good offense anymore. Unless he's absolutely incredible in the post he will never be a positive impact player, he can only play limited minutes because of his defense and he needs to be able to score enough to justify giving him the ball virtually...
