Did I take that too far? Hahah. When he was taken number 1 he still had all that other stuff he showed plus a solid jumper.
I’m guessing you would have taken Tatum #1?
Since you’re a huge Duke fan I’m curious where you thought Okafor should have gone? All I remember from that draft was...
Fair point, I just think there's plenty of avenues for guys as talented as Bazley to receive more than $26k through the college route. Frank Kaminsky did an interview on Pardon My Take a week or two ago and mentioned how guys in the league would brag about how much money they got, and said he...
I think stuff like what Ayton got is more common than what has been reported. Recently I saw a tweet about Bagley’s family going from $44k in debt to living in a $750k home. There’s stories of Reggie Bush’s parents getting a house. Now this guys isn’t as good as those guys (though still a top 10...
With what we’ve seen in these investigations one would think he could easily make more at college. Maybe it’s not about the money for him? Maybe school just isn’t for him and he doesn’t want to waste his time there. Kinda like Ben Simmons who didn’t care to be at college at all
Yea probably. Simons is small but there’s still plenty of small players in the league, it likely takes a bit of time to adjust to the physicality and strength of the pros, college may be a decent stepping stone towards that but I think guys get better playing against pros than “amateurs”
Simons is bypassing because he can enter the draft, If Barrett or Reddish or Zion could enter the draft instead of going to Duke they would as well. It’s much different than going to the G league
