While i would agree that it was still weaker than the West, i would say it was a lot more talented from top to bottom than it has been post 2000. with the Pistons in the early part of the decade. The Heat were a solid team with Lonzo. The Magic had Shaq for a while. Reggie had some good teams...
I grew up watching in the 80s and 90s. The 90s era is by far my favorite so far. Its hard to compare different eras but LeBron has clearly had the easier road than MJ. The East as a whole has been completely irrelevant the last 2 decades save one or two teams.
They are going to alternate giving him and Paul nights off I assume here before the playoffs. They need to keep in game shape for when the games really count.
Poor McCaw. I hope he gets better soon. Undercutting a guy in the air needs to be an ejectable offense. Vince wasnt even making a real play on the ball. Thats a dangerous play.
I just keep looking at the WC standings in amazement. Portland a lock for #3?? The logjam at the bottom... its gonna be a fun finish. The regular season has been fun this year
True but still a fun moment for Green. He has embraced the city of Houston so much. He has done so much philanthropic work in his short time here its pretty impressive. Our own hometown hero
KD is getting more techs because of his emotions and passion to repeat. I thought it was just because he whines non-stop from beginning to end of the game frequently cursing out refs. Maybe he should create another fake twitter to trash NBA refs with. Durant is easily the most unlikable player...
People would be wise to hold back before crowning the Yanks. ESPN and MLB.com will because they love the ratings and the money that the Yanks bring in for them. We saw Severino come out yesterday and he looked strong. They have a solid rotation, but each guy has their warts (save Severino)...
I saw yesterday he was sent to the 60-day DL. It's sad because of how great he was while he was in Colorado. His body just couldn't meet the demands of a 162 game season.
the injuries happened though. batter's position in the box can lead to more HBP. freak injuries or not, he has played 145 or more games only 3 times in his 7 full years as a pro. hamstrings get pulled running the bases just as often as they do in the field. you can hurt your wrist getting hit...
Fair enough but two of his biggest injuries occured in the batter's box (face and wrist)...he has averaged 117 games the last 3 years and played in more than 150 only twice. He needs another year like last year and maybe even another to ditch the injury-prone label. He has been the Tulo of...
