Oh, well it's the first I'm hearing of it honestly. No one around here has posted anything but I'm sure there's interest.
I do like Phillips but, given how much he's making and his stats this season, it depends on what they'd have to give up. If it's minor prospects and/or picks, I'm okay...
Nobody had tried any crazy moves, they were all in the breakaway challenge, so it was just like a normal shootout. And those get boring after a while. Though Karlsson and Briere both had pretty sweet goals.
That's not, or shouldn't be, a knock on Orr. What buisness does someone who doesn't know jackshit about hockey have in determining who the GOAT is? GOAT isn't always "most popular".
Again, I'm not trying to argue between the two because, obviously, my opinion is biased. Just that statement...
bosox, I love to hate on the Yanks as much as the next guy but can't argue this one. Feliciano has held lefties consistently, or over the last 3-4 years, to around a .210 BA. Will it be that good in the AL East? Maybe not. But that's still pretty filthy
Yeah, I'm guessing the extension is to help along a trade. Why would certain teams trade for a guy they know they won't re-sign? This way he's got an extra year on top of the half this season. Or a full year if they trade him in the off-season.
I guess it's part of the rebuild but I think they should hold on to Antropov. Modin should attract interest, especially at a fair $1.5M. Hainsey's the hardest to move with his pretty hefty contract.
