Just went back to watch how it went down on TV. Still awesome. Glad they didn't drop the ball in terms of micing the crowd like they did last week. For that, they can give some thanks to the Dunk because the way it's built.
Good for them, but I think winning is the last thing this team needs. Something needs to give in order for management to see the glaring holes in the roster.
Oh the irony.
It's also funny that Snider/Holmgren might be a more dysfunctional management tandem than Pegula/Regier were, yet they both still have jobs.
What's worse would be Super Cena and a 60 yr old Hulk Hogan (who was Super Cena before Super Cena) burying a top new heel on "the grandest stage of them all"
That's gotta still burn. In year 3 or 4 (of 7) of Tuukka's contract, Subban will challenge for the top spot. He'll be back up in a couple years.
Signs are there, but he definitely needs some time in the AHL. And definitely needs to play consistently.
A new TV deal worth a couple billion + one of the lowest payrolls in the league + a team in desperate need of offense = good signing.
Bad contract, but good signing.
