That's not the case really... He would just be overruled by LeBron. He had a great offensive system when they actually ran it. But if the players are going to reject it anyway it doesn't matter how great the system is.
He's defensive minded. Been on multiple coaching staffs. I'm sure he will have better rotations because Blatt was dreadful in that aspect. The players already are in favor of him too haha
In a stunning move, the Cavs have fired David Blatt after a 30-11 start to the season. Blatt has been lauded as one of the best young coaches in the game, and he was at the helm last year when the Cavs were 2 wins away from their first ever NBA Championship. All that I can say is wow. I don't...
He's got a ton of talent. I think that Phoenix probably should have traded him rather than BOTH Thomas and Dragic -- this would have allowed them to continue to run their two-guard offense with pace and efficiency. They would have been able to cash in on Bledsoe and either start their rebuild...
I'll take the Cavs -- homer reasons aside, it's hard to argue with the best basketball player in the world being on your team, plus Kyrie and Love are both still young. Kyrie hasn't even hit his prime yet.
He'll be under team control for up to 2 full seasons because he didn't play the last two full seasons haha. Great news for the Browns because they can either take the chance on him (they BADLY need a receiver) or they can flip him for something.
