I'm tempted to grab tickets before they sell out...anyway, this was totally forced. He had no desire to really do this, and his emotions showed that. 2018 and beyond he'll make a great coach, and then manager (hello Seattle).
Oh good. I hope it is Ronald Guzman, he has some serious potential, and could be the Brewers future 1B. Just looking now, the Brewers have a very stacked system now. Them and the Yankees did amazing work.
I think the Rangers gave up a tad too much for a 40-year old rental, but the leadership, the play, and the history makes this a solid deal. The Yankees did a fantastic job this deadline.
Moore does have a track record, just has some injuries in his past. This could be a solid deal for the Giants, but not at the cost of Duffy. The Rays did phenomenal in this deal.
I feel like the Reds made out on this deal. Bruce is declining, take it for what you want, but his stats suggest that. He has started out poorly in New York, and without his random hot streak he really wouldn't be where he is today for the season.
If Hill can come off the DL guns a blazin this deal will be solid for both sides, the Dodgers still have plenty in that farm, and Reddick should provide nice pop for them. The A's did very well in this deal for two rentals, with one being on the DL.
The Brewers added two nice prospects, but the deal overall as light. Those two for Lucroy is fine, but they needed to added in one more legit (Gallo) player with Jeremy heading to Texas as well.
Winners:
Yankees - They finally are selling. Yes, it is weird to say a rebuilding team is a winner, but this team has needed a kick in the butt. A youth revolution is much needed in the Bronx, and I believe they made some amazing deals to get them started.
Giants - It is an even year. Yes...
First off, It takes two to tango. AJ is a, pardon for the pun, phenomenal worker, but Roman looked great in the matches as well because AJ is someone who he works well with. He made strides as a worker, mic skills got a little better, better as a heel than a face...everyone knows that. Ratings...
Not a complete rejection, just a majority. Which I still think is dumb because he was doing much better after Mania, but oh well fans will always be fans.
I feel like Dean Ambrose needs to do something more than be a baby face. Don't get me wrong, he is getting some great reactions, but he has gotten a little stale. With all that...I'm glad he is finally champion. They've done actually a great job with his build up just the in between feuds have...
