Great hire for them. I know that CP3 was worried about them getting a HC because Skiles waited so long to leave, but they went out and got the best one on the market that was left in my opinion.
He's definitely more polished and ready to play than Bender at this point. Bender has more upside though so I'm not really sure. I'd probably want the more proven Sabonis, but taking him at 3 would be a pretty big stretch, so I think he falls a little bit to late lotto.
Been saying that Portland would be the perfect fit. I don't really like Washington because I think he would have trouble finding a role there, and that team is in disarray.
Two different questions being asked here... Hurricane Season answered the second one, but as for the first Butler is worth a lot. I think with the Celtics dropping to 3, it would take more than just the pick and Crowder to get him, largely because there's a pretty big drop off from the top 2.
You guys are really undervaluing the role that JJ played this year when Blake was out for that team. Dude was nice. I really think if they moved Griffin for another player/package they could go to a lineup that actually WORKS, and not the disjointed effort that they throw out trying to get Blake...
Olynyk is pretty bad... Len still has potential and has been getting better every year. Adams is proving his worth in this postseason and has been exceptional for the Thunder.
If he falls that will be the logical pick. I think the Celtics (or whoever will eventually pick at #3) will be hard-pressed to pass on him, but that's just me personally.
It's crazy because if you go back and look at his scouting reports he was a scoring prodigy. And at only 19 years old he had the ability to become a force on both ends of the floor. It's fascinating how bad he ended up being really
