darren collison has been getting fucked his whole career lol
nice rookie year, but they had CP3 so they had to trade him.
nice start to indy, but eventually benched last year

benched this year for fisher and now mike james?

damn
Darren's a special case. He does a lot of things that can't be taught. He is one of the quickest players in the league, he is a guy that can put the ball in the net, he can turn you over, among other things. Problem is, he also doesn't have a lot of the qualities you want in your point guard. He can't finish at the rim, he's a poor defender, he can't run a offense or a offensive play, he can't run the pick and roll.

not being a good pick and roll player, mainly the man with the ball, is what makes or breaks players. its clearly the go to play and if you cant run it well, either by passing or finishing at the rim then you cant be a starter.

Exactly. You have guys who are in rotations just because they are fantastic at it.

its also so easy to see missed pr's. i get extremely frustrated when players miss the open pass to try a contested layup or shot.

tonight knight jad a nice pr with maxiell and max was wide open for an oop, or just a dunk and knight dribbled into a double team and a sloppy kick out pass.

That flagrant foul on OJ Mayo was weak. That was a "what happened after" call and not an actual play with any harsh intentions.

I fucking hate new Flagrant Foul rules. They're just fucking stupid.

Also, no idea if that last play was a foul. Can't see Blake's right hand on any of the replays.

he wanted to wrap him up but blake didnt get stopped. you can tell he didnt want that to happen or anything. the refs had to make the call because its the rules but looking at it even in real time, it shouldnt have been called a flagrant.

I can't believe the Mavericks are playing so well of late, but they'd need the right matchup to do anything even remotely surprising in round 1, and I don't know who that matchup would be.

Nothing is going to top that first tweet. He might as well retire from twitter while he's on top.

I'm starting to worry about Blake Griffin. He's been in the league for what, three years? Yet he still has no offensive game away from the rim and tries to play more like a guard than a 6'10 forward.

I always thought his offensive (post) game was cringeworthy. The dunks overshadow everything.

he has no post game. i always compared him to kg when other compared him to kemp.

hes not going to reach either level if he doesnt work on his offensive game back to the basket or a goto midrange shot.

part of me blames the coaching staff. vdn needs to go.

and he's still a good offensive player. Just imagine if he stopped trying to make flashy moves and developed a post game, mid range game, etc.

he needs to make the post game a priority and let the mid range come in time. to me his whole midrange form is ugly. too stiff.
