I can't agree with that, you can find guys who can do a solid job at NT in the draft or in FA but finding a stud pass rusher is very hard to nearly impossible.
By my count, there are at least 24 above average to great pass rushers in the NFL. There are maybe 5 true nose tackles.

Maybe I was wrong then. But that doesn't change my initial thought. Give me the pass rusher. It's what the Saints need.

I would probably have a tough time passing up Mingo if he was still on the board.

I see 11 guys who I would take instead of Trufant for NE.

This mock is meh to me. Sheldon wont play NT, and he's more likely to go #2 than Lotulelei
Patterson is miles too high
Moore makes no sense for Buffalo, who has way too many other needs than another DE.
Te'o is too high
Gio should be the 1st RB off the board
Vaccaro falling past STL is extremely doubtful
NT is like one of 3 positions the Ravens don't need
CB for Cleveland? They need pass rushers, not corners.
And most of all, Geno Smith will not be the #1 pick. Stop mocking that, it will not happen. He isn't a 1st grade value, and I'm seeing more and more people move him down to a trade into the late 20's type of player right now, not a #1 pick. Joeckel is almost a certain lock for #1.

Last year:

"We can't spend the #4 pick on Mo Claiborne. We have Haden, and we cant draft a #2 CB with a Top 5 pick."

How does one year make anything different? You significantly need a pass rusher, and Milliner isn't even that great.

Who would you take with the Pats pick? A lot of mocks have the Pats going CB and unless you're desperate for a WR/DT/S or like one of the other corners better, picking Trufant isn't terrible.

Richardson's blend of size and speed screams Raiders. And why would he play NT? Unless I missed something, the Raiders still run the 4-3. And Star's not terrible for the Jags if they decide to go DT, Alualu's a bust and Knighton's going to be a FA.

Total brainfart on the Bills pick, completely forgot they're going to the hybrid. My bad on that one.

Te'o is a perfect Bengal, but then again it seems that Ogletree is too. Assuming he falls a tad after this DUI, he'll probably be there at 21 for the Bengals taking.

Just personal preference with Lacy over Gio. Plus Lacy's stock has been rising since the NCG.

NT's not bad for Baltimore if they don't bring back Kemeoatu on a short deal. The only replacement on the roster is Cody and he's been terrible.

I do agree with you about Joeckel going #1, it just won't be to the Chiefs imo. Someone's who really wants Luke is going trade up and get him. My prediction is that Arizona trades up to get him and the Chiefs take him at 7. But mocking without out trades really puts that to rest.

I usually don't mock players to spots when I think they will trade out of the spot, but you gave Jacksonville exactly who I thought they would take.

Sheldon Richardson is a perfect DE in the Jacksonville LEO defense. Think Red Bryant for the Seahawks; that's Richardson's role. If they don't trade down, I'd expect a LEO of either Zeke or Keke, but Sheldon is an underrated pick. I like it.

I don't love the Dion Jordan pick, because I feel they have bigger needs than a pass rusher. But Dion is definitely the best pass rushing LB in this draft (I don't love the prospects of Ansah or Mingo as LBs), so its not too bad.

Mingo would play OLB for the Jets. 3-4 defense

Naht bad tho. Love the Swearinger pick definitely.

Even with the red flags I don't think I'd mind Jarvis.

I'm trying to figure out how your mock changes so dramatically, every couple of days.
