The Big Ten is so good, complete 180 from football. Clearly the best conference this year.

I would argue they had a good football conference. Ohio St. was the best team in the country.

Definitely beating the crap out of each other again in bball like they do every year. Only prepares better for March. It's why Big10 consistently has teams go far in the tournament.

Then kept reading and saw "Only prepares better for March. It's why Big10 consistently has teams go far in the tournament."

Big 10 team hasn't won a title since 2000 -______-

I really have no idea what this dude is talking about lol.

I certainly think the Buckeyes were a much better team than Notre Dame.
Don't think anyone was on Alabama's level though.

OSU was definitely not the best football team. They would lose to most elite teams. They went undefeated mainly due to coaching.

Lol you're really gonna say "Big 10 teams consistently go far in the tournament" and then bring up one team a year as evidence. I'm not arguing that the Big 10 isn't the best conference in the country this year as far as how many tournament teams it has goes, but don't misconstrue hard evidence that says the Big 10 is one of the worst power conferences in terms of tournament success.

Even though the tourney is the only thing that matters, I don't see how a single elimination tournament can be a huge factor in conference success. It's just too random.

Every year the Big10 has multiple elite 8 teams. This year especially, I think the tough Big10 schedule is going to benefit Michigan & Indiana come tournament time and I also did find your statistic surprising, but that doesn't make what I said untrue.

Big 10 teams in the elite 8:

2012 - Ohio State
2011 - No one
2010 - Michigan State
2009 - Michigan State
2008 - No one
2007 - Ohio State
2006 - No one

Am I missing something here? Please do your research next time....

This game is nuts, but Louisville looks deflated. Think Notre Dame will take it now.
