The Detroit Lions have released Titus Young.

Young tweeted in January that he preferred to be released if the Lions weren't going to include him in their future plans.

Young has caught 81 balls for 990 yards over his first 26 NFL games after playing collegiately at Boise State.

what a waste of talent. I hope he doesn't get signed. But he probably will.

I don't see this guy ever growing up. He's really got some mental issues I believe.

Good news: He probably is the best receiver on the Rams.

Every fan always wants their teams to take a risk on these type of guys. There is no difference here.

Low risk, high reward. Rams don't have much to lose, maybe he'll grow up a little bit and turn into a decent player, I guess time will tell. Since he's the best WR in the league, he's got a lot to prove.
