I still believe he can be solid off the bench for a team. I hope he gets another shot.

There's no doubt in my mind AI is better than 50% of the scrubs on NBA benches

There's no doubt in my mind that there's no place for a 6'0, 37 year old SG who was washed up 3 years ago

He's not better than scrub ass Shaun Livingston?

[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)]Allen Iverson wrote on Twitter that he has declined an [/background]invitation[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)] to join the D-League's Texas Legends.[/background]
[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)]
The Legends have been pursuing Iverson throughout the season.[/background]

[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)]
"I thank Donnie (Nelson) and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me," wrote Iverson.[/background]
[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)]
"I realize my actions contributed to my early departure from the NBA, should God provide me another opportunity I will give it my all," Iverson continued.[/background]

[background=rgb(244, 243, 238)]Iverson's post was his first in 57 days.[/background]

Shaun Livingston is playing better now than Iverson did when he was 34.

Difference being, Livingston can actually play back up point, and is a ton more versatile considering his height.

And saying that, I wouldn't even move forward with him as the back up, Allen Iverson is just the worst.

how can you not? he never shot the ball well, and wasnt as good of a defender as people gave him credit for, and really was never a point guard, but dude was a baller and would light everyone up and was really fun to watch. he changed the game for all little guys.

I wouldn't even know where to start. Lets start with how he took care of the ball I suppose, offensively he posted the second lowest usage rate of his career but still managed to post the third highest turnover rate of his career. I don't know how that's even possible.

AI was and still is that dude, his NBA career is over, but was the most exciting player I've ever watched without a doubt.

All the stats are nice, but look who the man played with, never had a sidekick in Philly, he was always the mainly option.
