Eh I guess. It's not like he's a 7 footer like Brook doe... he's not going to be taking set shots lol

I can't see him coming back with an improved shot... just doesn't make sense

i can see him with a better form, but not really shooting for better %s and whatnot.

Practicing with set shots improves your form and helps to get it more consistent. From there he just adds the jump when he's able

Lol. It's not like his form is that fucking terrible that set shots are going to help his shooting percentage that much.

And anyone who has ever played basketball know that you don't just "add the jump". Leg positioning, balance, ability to explode upwards, etc are just as important as the shooting form.

I've played more basketball than 99% of this board and I can tell you I go into the gym and shoot set shots all the time to help my jumper get better.

Anyways, Kyrie Irving deserves so much better than Cleveland. Jesus that team is awful

He could have been shooting as early as September though. It's not like he's been off the court since May. 4 months or so is usually when the ligament is as strong as it is gonna get, so he's probably been doing on-court workouts for the past 3 or 4 months.

I hope his shooting is improved, because he's a very average finisher around the rim, and I somehow doubt he'll have improved that over the off-season.

Teams who usually get the first pick lack talent and have to rebuild. This isn't uncommon.

New Orleans has 20 times the talent Cleveland does.
Washington is just as bad as Cleveland.
The Clippers clearly had talent even before they traded for CP3. (DeAndre Jordan, Eric Gordon, etc)
The Bulls had talent in Deng and Noah.
The Blazers definitely had talent before Oden (Roy, Aldridge)
