Mexi I'm sorry but if you knew anything about basketball aside from being a fan boy you'd know that Harden is just another real good player but he isn't this great player that people think he is. He has his limits offensively and is a horrible player defensively. And no, 2 steals per game doesn't make him a good defensive player. It's no secret that come playoff time defenses pick it up. They begin to really smother you, and Harden is unable to establish his skill set on the game. The open shots that he feasts on in the regular season all but disappear, he struggles to get off good looks on his own (he's actually a poor iso player), and his free throw attempts dry up leading to an inefficient offensive player. Alot of this has to do with the fact that he has no middle offensive game, he's either going to the rim or he's shooting from behind the arc.
So he's inefficient offensively because he takes the two most efficient shots on the floor? Lolwut

Anyone that says he's not a top 10 player this year is a fucking moron.

I never saw this hype when Monta Ellis was scoring 25 ppg, or Kevin Martin.

Lol k. The point stays the same.

He doesn't need a midrange game to be effective. If he isn't getting fouled at the basket he's most likely finishing.

Sure about that? Like I clearly stated above, I'm strictly talking about come playoff time. When teams have day after day to dissect your game they are going to take away what you do best, and for Harden that is probably getting to the rim. Not having a midrange game allows teams to pack the paint. Last season in the playoffs he shot 59% against Dallas, 52% against LA, and 57% against San Antonio and Miami, all those percentages were at the rim. All those percentages were also well below average. For comparisons sake he shot nearly 73% at the rim during the regular season.

Heck, even this year he's below average at the rim without having Durant to pull guys out.

Harden is worth the max. And if he isn't now, him playing like this for multiple years will certainly justify the contract.

Lakers need to go 31-17 the rest of the way to get 46 wins, the average of the 8th seed in the West.

Nobody's talking about Varejao missing his 11th straight game tonight? This is exactly why I said the Cavs needed to trade him but were setting his asking price too high.

It could always change, but that doesn't mean it will. And it's not small stuff, this stuff is important.

Especially since he's "the franchise." They need to surround him with some better players, which I'm sure they will.

Varejao missing games is good for the Cavs. He's actually out 6-8 more weeks

Yeah I just read that. I agree it's good for them but they're also stuck with him now.
